Duo bring their special sound to gig

The Ka¯piti Coast’s favourite Celticfunk-blues duo have a gig planned for Levin next Friday night. Black Eyed Susie is violin, guitar, and vocals duo of Ramon Oza and Susan Colien Reid who have built up a fan base with their unique blend of blues, Celtic and funk since 2006. Their sound is their own, weaving Oza’s rhthym and base funk guitar and Reid’s classical wailing celtic violin. The duo write songs and have supported many national and international artists. They love to share good music and make it accessible to all. They regularly perform at Paraparaumu Market which is one of their favourite places to play, bringing upbeat and warm sounds to the street. Admission is $5 for members, $10 non-members and $3 for students. The club is holding its AGM on Friday, August 26.
