Hundreds gather for Anzac ceremonies
Hundreds of people came together in Rotorua in¯remembrance on Anzac Day last Sunday. The sun rose and steam swirled across Ohinemutu as Te Arawa Ma¯ ori Returned Services League hosted the dawn service in the early morning. The sound of the Rotorua Highland Pipe Band reverberated throughout the Government Gardens as the Anzac Day Parade made its way through to the Energy Events Centre. The centre was packed as speeches were given and songs sung at the Civic Memorial Service.
